Legacy Properties West
Sotheby’s International Realty
I have worked with Legacy Properties West for about 15 years. Back then, it was a father/son team brokering high-end ranch and recreational properties in Durango, Colorado. We developed a warm, western brand for their materials, including website, emails, brochures, flyers, signage, and correspondence pieces. I was basically their “remote in-house designer.” (Not the same as an “out-house designer.” Had some misunderstandings. Had to change my business cards.) Over the years, they expanded and brought on additional agents to service all levels of real estate in the four corners area. In 2013, at a significant point in their expansion, they joined Sotheby’s International Realty.
Blue is the New Brown
Sotheby’s Realty has an extensive style guide for all their affiliates, ensuring a cohesive look for a global company. I redesigned and rebranded all of Legacy Properties West projects to fit the new clean and crisp look, and the name officially became Legacy Properties West Sotheby’s International Realty. A mouthful, yes, and a successful move for the company. The corporate headquarters soon considered LPWSIR a flagship office, making the most of the Sotheby’s Realty brand.
Company and Property Advertising
Realtors must advertise properties. Fortunately LPWSIR wanted to showcase their listings more than just grids of little photos. They also continued their priority of image advertising, positioning their company as the local experts with global reach, and an exclusive level of service. Their ads stood out in each publication.
Brochures, Brochures, Brochures
You can never have too many property brochures, especially when their custom layouts are full of professional photography and extensive, detailed write-ups. Sotheby’s Realty had tools and templates for agents to create their own brochures online, but the results looked like anyone-can-do-it. I was pleased to take the style and create our own custom layouts, for brochures that had the versatility to cater to each property, yet fit with the company look. We created hundreds of multi-page brochures, each unique, yet perfectly harmonious together in a wall rack. View an online brochure.
Company Magazine
Several times a year, we took the latest properties advertising section and combined it with company content to publish a magazine. It went to print, and like the advertisements and brochures, it went online for viewing and downloading. The online version has interactive links to videos and virtual tours, in addition to website pages and property brochures. Take a look at the online magazine.
Listing Presentations
Sotheby’s Realty company materials, combined with agent bios, testimonials, and local ads became effective listing presentations for each agent. These were printed for the agents to use in sales calls and meetings. See a listing presentation online.
